The winner received $660.00 (1/2 the pot)
A Californian took our Washington money back home with him.
Here is an easy (or not so easy) way to win some $$$$$$$$$!! The Granite Falls Museum is planning a rather unusual kind of race. They will be placing a large excercise ball into the river at the Falls on Mountain Loop Highway. The ball will float from there to Chappell Bridge on Jordan Road. Here is how you can win:
Tickets are on sale for $5.00 for you to guess how much time it will take for the ball to go from the Falls to Chappel Bridge. Whoever is closest to the exact time wins half the pot! The other half of the proceeds will go to the Granite Falls Museum. Race starts promptly at 2:00 p.m. Winner will be announced at 5:00 p.m. at the Museum.
You may contact Bill at 360-794-4405 to purchase your ticket(s) in advance, or you may buy them the day of the race from ticket sellers who will be blanketing the town.
